I YEAR
Attendance to courses, tutorials and seminars at Collegio Carlo Alberto is compulsory. Exceptions
for any reasons must be
authorized explicitly by the Coordinator of the programme.
At the end of each regular course students must sit an exam. The
performance of each student will be assessed at the end of the first
year, after all exam are completed. Evaluation will take into account
the exam result, attendance and participation.
ADMISSION TO THE II YEAR
Students must meet all the obligations, that is to say regularly
attending the courses, tutorials, seminars and passing the exams. A single failure of a
short course (10) does not preclude the admission to the second year.
Two failures will require a decision by the board. If more than 2 will
be failed the student is automatically out of the programme.
Any different failure will be evaluated by the board.
By the end of the first year, students must submit a research proposal to the programme Coordinator.
ADMISSION TO THE III YEAR
Admission to III year is based on the evaluation of the progress in
the research work. See Regulation on the Progress toward the Ph.D.
dissertation.
